Back 2 M.A.C + Lipsticks!

Hi Lovelies
Have you heard about M.A.C's recycling program, called Back 2 M.A.C.
Don't throw away that empty foundation bottle just yet!

MAC will accept 6 full size empties and receive a free lipstick!
Which got me thinking when it comes to choosing a MAC lipstick or if it is your first time purchasing a lipstick it can be overwhelming when there are so many shades and finishes to choose from, so I though I would break it down.

Matte- Opaque coverage and long wearing, can be drying on the lips.
Retro Matte- Flat opaque coverage, can be very drying, also very long wearing.
Satin- Semi matte sheen, generally have a good opaque coverage. (fave)
Amplified- Heavy opaque coverage, great colour pay off and has a light sheen finish.
Amplified Creme- Creamy glossy finish with a short wear time, can also bleed a bit.
Cremesheen- a high pigmentation but don't wear very long with its glossy texture. (fave)
Frost- Quite a sparkly finish or even metallic, not personally a fave. definitely swatch before purchasing.
Lustre- Sheer but buildable with a glossy finish, wear time about 3-4 hours.

Ruby Woo- Very Matte, Vivid Blue-Red
Diva- Matte, Intense Reddish- Burgundy
Lady Danger- Matte, Vivid Bright Coral-Red
Chili- Matte, Brownish Orange-Red
Russian Red- Matte, Intense Bluish-Red

Velvet Teddy- Matte, Deep-Tone Beige
Taupe- Matte, Muted Reddish-Taupe Brown
Twig- Satin, Soft Muted Brownish-Pink
Whirl- Matte, Dirty Rose

Vegas Volt- Amplified, Full Power Coral
Kinda Sexy- Matte, Neutral Pinky-Rose
See Sheer- Lustre, Grapefruit Pink
Morange- Amplified, Loudmouth Orange

Candy Yum Yum- Matte, Neon Pink
Creme Cup- Cremesheen, Light Blue Pink
Impassioned- Amplified, Amped-Up Fuchsia
Please Me- Matte, Muted-Rosy-Tinted pink
Snob- Satin, Light Neutral Pink

I've said it before and i'll say it again I love M.A.C lipsticks and they are always my go-tos!
My faves at the momet- Velvet Teddy, Brave, Mehr, Faux and Syrup.
Can you guess how many lipsticks I have without counting!?
