YSL Beauty- 'The Street And I' and 'The Shock' Collections 2017

Hi Lovelies
I got a bundle of treats from YSL Beauty, introducing two of their new collections for Spring 2017 'The Street And I' and 'The Shock' Collection. Plus the new Black Opium 'Floral Shock' fragrance which I will do a part two with the new 'The Shock' mascara.

Inspired by the city streets, the packaging of these two palettes take on 'pop-art' graffiti style.
With embossed catchy quotes on top of each lid, a pop of colour highlights the compacts names.

Keep An Eye On Me
Couture Palette Collector

From graffiti grey to pop art pink and oranges- this palette has a combination of colours designed to intrigue your inner urban artist. A shimmering pale pink to highlight under the brow, a hard city grey for lining or creating a smokey eye;  a flash of orange, and a duo of pinks to brighten and add a pop of colour to the lids.
These shades have decent pigment the shimmery shades are a little chalky and the matte shadows subtle but overall a great colour palette. I like to find a palette that is a little different to the rest with interesting colours to create a look with.

I Have A Blush On You
Face Palette Collector

A colourful crush of orange, definitely a bold bright blush.
The powder is embossed with a 'brick wall' effect.
It may look intense in the pan but it is buildable and can be layered to an intense or subtle look with just a few sweeps of the brush.

La Laque Couture
No. 80 Blanc Arty

A pure white shade with a shiny finish, I would say apply about 2-3 layers to get the intense white you see in the tube.
White nails are surprising refreshing for Spring. Even apply it as a base coat under your desired top coat shade to help bring out the colour.

Eye Gloss Smudger

I've been loving the new glossy lids, glossy lips trend at the moment, so I was extra excited to try this little eye gloss out. The Eye Gloss Smudger is a glossy top coat eye gel.
I found this gloss blends in with your eyeshadow and defuses the pigment quite a bit, so your best to use a very bright or very pigmented shadow for the colour to stay. The great thing is I didn't find it sticky or tacky at all! My lids definitely looked very glossy.
Best to start off with a little bit and add more if need. Can be worn on the bare lid or on top of an eyeshadow for a messy-on-purpose effect.

Couture Brow Marker

The Couture Brow Marker is a felt tip brow marker that gives precise control over how you draw on your brow. It redefines your brows so that they appear full, thick and luscious.
The marker pen has a sharp, slender tip allowing for precise application that is easy to blend into your natural brows. You can create hair like strokes with this fine marker that look so natural.
Definitely a quick and easy way of drawing in or filling in your brows.
For NZ these will be on counter from the 20th March.
