M.A.C Spring/ Summer Collection 2017

Hi Lovelies
As you know I attended the Kabuki Magic media event at the Mac Pro store in Britomart, where myself and other bloggers and magazine editors were introduced to the new Spring/Summer Collection for 2017. For this collection Mac have teamed up with 3 makeup artists James Kaliardos, Diane Kendal and Kabuki Magic each artist has re-created their favourite products.
After the event we got to go home with an amazing goody bag, with a few product from each collection. Which I have included below.
Check out my event post here.

James Kaliardos Collection

You would all know by now how much I love Mac lipsticks, without sounding like a broken record their my go-toos and you definitely can't go wrong with a red lipstick. Kaliardoes has included some deep reds and pinky coral shades in his collection.

Jasper- Reddish-Brown (James says he took his favourite brown MAC lipstick "Paramount" and mixed wine into it to create JASPER)

I'm a little confused as to how I got the 'Blood Red' shades because it actually isn't in the line and it looks really similar to Bloodstone. However there are two other shades in Kaliardos collection Almondine a lippy Pink and Coral Bliss a frosted light coral.

Blood Red- literally the name describes itself!
Bloodstone (Amplified Creme)- Bluish mid-tone red

Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour x6

This lightweight formula feels like you're wearing nothing at all, they are creamy, comfortable and hydrates the lips and cheeks. The dewy formula leaves you skin looking illuminated with a healthy glow.

I was so excited when I received this lip palette that doubles as a cheek palette, it's perfect for makeup artists to cut down on bulk in your kit especially with lipsticks and blushes. From peachy nudes to pinks and reds you can't go wrong with this palette and if your not a makeup artist it's still a great travel palette to test out, definitely ideal lipstick shades all you need is a lip brush.

Creme Shadow x6

Highly pigmented, long-wearing and water-resistant these creme shadows are for all skin types.
I find creme shadows great base shadows or even perfect to wear alone on the lid and just blend out at the crease. They are a medium to buildable colour and non-drying.
Glowing- Light 14k gold pearl
Dynamic- Reddish bronze with pearl
Alluring- Royal purple with pearl
Enigmatic- Reddish plum with pearl
Daring- Navy blue with pearl
Rebellious- Deep blackened brown with pearl

Kabuki Magic Collection
-Dazzleshadows x4-

A palette of four dazzleshadows.
The rich, stay-true pigments stick to the lid with minimal fallout, giving eyes a beautiful, twinkling sheen. Creating a multidimensional, reflective surface, quite like duo-chrome. You'll get a lot of compliments with those dazzling lids!
How I like to use these is I spray my eyeshadow brush with Mac's Fix Plus and pat the dazzleshadow with my brush on the lid, it make the shade look extra shimmery and glittery, to make your eyes pop!
Humoresque- Light burgundy pearl with teal reflects
Last Dance- Light pink pearl with duochromatic violet reflects
Heaven Loves You- Gold pearl with gold reflects
Letty Lynton- White pearl with white reflects

Moons Of Saturn
-Full Face Kit-

Moons of Saturn is one of two Face Kits in the lighter shades with two Cream Colour Bases and a Sculpting Powder. Inside this little compact is a mirror and a sliding lid with the two cream colours on top, it slides open to the bronzer underneath.
I'm really loving the bronzer in this palette as it compliments my pale skin tone quite nicely, the blush however is very bright not a shade I would normally go for and the highlighter is very glittery but definitely have a gorgeous glow to it.

Rhea- is a bright pink coral (Cream Colour)
Gypsum- is a light golden champagne pearl with fine silver reflects (Cream Colour)
Natural Sandstone- A matte golden bronze (Scultping Powder)
