Lorac Pro 3 Palette

Hi Lovelies
Lorac have come out with a third edition to their original, best-selling Pro Palette- 'Pro 3' in some amazing soft earthy shades. Not that I need any more eyeshadow palettes but this one had my name all over it (says the makeup addict), when it comes to eyeshadows I'm very drawn toward golds, champagnes, warm browns and ever neutrals shade under the sun and that's exactly what the Lorac pro 3 has!
...
I've also reviewed the original Lorac pro palette here

Lorac are known for their velvety-smooth shadows that are ultra-pigmented and can also be used wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes.
Pro 3 comes with a mini Behind the Scenes Eye Primer which I personally don't like as I feel it stings my eye lid but it could be because I have sensitive skin.

The palette itself is a gorgeous nude beige that complements the shadows in the palette. Like the original Pro palette its is very sleek and light weight. Plus has a decent sized mirror on the inside.

Top Row
Blanc (matte cream) *A bit chalky
Canvas (matte beige) *This is the only shade I felt didn't have much colour pay off
Cool Taupe (matte taupe)
Pink Nude (matte pinky beige)
Clay (matte reddish brown)
Terracotta (matte orangey brown)
Dk. Brown (matte dark brown)
Jet Black (matte jet black)

Bottom Row
Lt. Gold (soft yellow shimmer)
Almond Pearl (champagne shimmer)
Medallion (bronzey gold shimmer)
Lt. Pewter (silver pewter shimmer)
Amethyst (plum shimmer)
Rose Bronze (peachy bronze shimmer)
Dk. Mocha (bronze shimmer)
Truffle (dark brown black shimmer)
...
Overall I found the shimmer shades had a bit of fall out but they have great staying power as from just swatching them on my hand they were diffult to wash off even with soap. As for the Matte shades (top row) the first two shadows 'Blanc' and 'Canvas' seemed less pigmented to the rest and when blended seemed to disapear to nothing.

The only down side with having a nude beige palette is the darker shadows seemed to stain the palette making it look quite messy.
...
So do you need this palette!? Yes and No if your looking for a palette with earthy tones this is your go-to but if you have a few eyeshadow palettes with plenty of netural shades you may want to skip it.
But if your still really wanting to get a Lorac Pro palette I would keep an eye out for the Lorac 'Mega' Pro which they normally bring out for the holidays it has twice as many eyeshadows that come with a whole range of shades. I reviews their first one here

Let me know if you have tried the Lorac Pro 2 and if its worth getting!?

xLx
