Kylie Cosmetics- Kyshadow Bronze Palette

Hi Lovelies
So I'm finally getting around to reviewing Kylie Cosmetics' first eyeshadow palette or should I say 'Kyshadow' called the Bronze Palette. After trying many of the Kylie Lip Kits I really was intrigued to try out her next addition to Kylie's makeup collection.

When I first saw images of the Bronze palette I new I definitely wanted to pick it up because I love my neutrals shades- warm browns, nudes and champagnes are my go toos and perfect shades to go with any of the Kylie Lip Kits, Glosses or Metallics.

If you've read or seen a few reviews about the Bronze palette, bloggers and youtubers have commented on how the satin shadows aren't as pigmented as the matte shades. I personally think the satins work well as subtle shimmer shades and are gorgeous colours but they could be improved.

To compare the rest of the eyeshadows they are very pigmented, buildable and blend effortessly I can't complain.

The palette itself is made out of a very sturdy cardboard that is also very light weight and compact to travel with. But unfortunately it doesn't have a mirror which I think a lot of you would be disapointed about. I personally like to have a mirror on my eyeshadow palettes as it's handy when applying my makeup.
...
The palette retails for $42 USD thats about $59.25 NZD for some people I can see how this could be regarded as quite pricey for a palette that only has 9 eyeshadows. There are plently of eyeshadow palettes out there like this one with simillar colours. I myself go through phases of using new eyeshadow palettes, I'll get a new one and I will use it for weeks like I have with the Bronze palette and then if I feel like something different I'll go back to my favourite palettes.

Kylie always includes a card with a hand written note this time she has really stepped up her game with one of the eyes winking.

  1. I wasn't wow'ed by the colour selection of the Bronze Palette as it was so similar to the BH Cosmetics x Shaaanxo palette, but I ordered the new Burgundy palette and can't wait to try it!! Thanks for the honest review Laura
