The Skin Kitchen

Hi Lovelies
I love when I find a new skin care brand suited to my extra dry and sensitive skin and recently I discovered an amazing skin care brand called  The Skin Kitchen who were very generous in sending me some products to trial and review.
If you haven't heard of The Skin Kitchen they are a Vegan, Natural and Organic skincare range made in New Zealand.  Their products are formulated with a mixture of certified organic and natural ingredients, all cruelty free!
...
With my sensitive skin I've always been cautious when it come to skin care products, I mostly choose products that have natural ingredients in them. Plus for someone who wears makeup on a daily basis I need too take extra special care when looking after my skin. Not only to keep it healthy and hydrated but also have a flawless base when it comes to applying makeup.

Body Scrub

Original Coffee is your classic coffee scrub made with organic Robusta coffee beans that is said to be perfect for targeting skin problems such as cellulite, psoriasis, eczema, scars and stretch marks.
Scrubs are known to be great exfoliators revitalizing  and smoothing the skin, plus this one has a yummy caffeine scent for all you coffee lovers.
Out of the two scrubs I got sent this one is more of a rougher and messier scrub (i.e coffee grains get everywhere in your shower) it also reminds me of the Frank Body scrub and to compare them- both contain 200g, Frank is a few dollars cheaper and an Aussie brand and I did have a little reaction with the Frank body scrub but I didn't to The Skin Kitchen's one.

Use 2-3 times per week. Massage in circular motions, concentrating on problem areas. Leave on for 5 mins before rinsing.

Body Scrub

The coconut scrub is very gentle on your skin and smells surprisingly like an afghan biscuit the product even looks like cookie mixture you'll seriously think about eating it (but I suggest you don't). Made with organic Coconut and blended with natural oils this scrub is packed with antioxidants which aids in restoring and healing skin.

This was my favourite scrub out of the two because it was gentle and smelt amazing, it was also so easy to scrub on my skin. Most of the product melts away and your left with coconut flakes and a thin layer of what i'm guess was coconut oil that coated my skin. My skin felt really soft and moisturised afterwards I'd definitely purchase this one again!

Also use 2-3 times per week. Massage in circular motions, concentrating on problem areas. Leave on for 5 mins before rinsing.

There are also two other body scrubs in the scents Vanilla Oat and Raspberry Chia.

Organic Face Oil
20ml

My skin has been very dry this winter, so dry that sometimes my cheeks can sting and appear flakey. I'd describe my skin type as mostly dry and sensitive, but sometimes I can have a slightly oily t-zone.

This Rosehip & Marula oil has been a life saver for my dry skin, I've been applying it morning and night to keep my skin hydrated. It is light weight with a subtle rose scent I apply about two pumps after cleansing my face and let it sink into my skin for a few minutes before apply my primer and foundation.
Said to be especially suited for dehydrated and sensitive skin (which is perfect for my skin type), due to the high content in antioxidants fighting ageing, balancing, healing and hydrating the skin.

It comes in the perfect travel size bottle with a pump, great to pop in your makeup bag!

They also have 2 other oils Chia & Pomegranate (suitable for all skin types) and Organ Hemp & Argan (ideal for oily and acne prone skin).
