La Femme Beauty NZ- Lorac and Nars

Hi Lovelies
As you know I love to support small NZ businesses and a new online makeup store La Femme Beauty are helping us NZ girls out by bring hard-to-get international makeup brands to NZ and making it easier for us to buy, no more extra overseas shipping!
They very generously sent me some products they are selling on their website
for myself to trial, review and share!

La Femme Beauty have bought in some great international brands and though they might not have a whole range of certain brands they are focused on selling top sellers and aim to stock as much as possible plus are continuously adding more range to each collection!

Plus free shipping over $40 in New Zealand.

I received a few brands to review from La Femme Beauty and decided to start with Nars and Lorac!
Plus on the launch day I wanted to purchase the Lorac Pro palette so i've include this in my review and though I would also include what shipping was like too.

Lorac Pro Palette
The Pro palette was my first purchase on the launch date of La Femme Beauty's website sadly my first palette came smashed :(  I've be dying to purchase this Pro palette as its so hard to find Lorac in New Zealand, luckily La Femme Beauty have great customer service and replaced my broken palette straight away with a brand new one at no extra cost! Shipping was so quick when shipped it arrived two days later.

This palette is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to try quality new eyeshadows, the Pro has 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades.
Lorac eyeshadows are well known for their very pigmented and super buttery texture and this palette is no exception I adore these shadows, my first Lorac purchase was the limited edition Lorac 'Mega Pro' palette and have wanted to purchase more palettes since.
Once you purchase any of Lorac's palettes you won't look at any other eyeshadows the same!
Plus the Pro palette came with a mini Behind the Scenes Eye Primer! which is a pale nude shade that turns sheer when patted on the lid.

Top row are all matte shades-
White, Cream,Taupe, Lt. Pink, Mauve, Sable, Espresso and Black

Bottom row are all shimmer shades-
Nude, Champagne, Gold, Lt. Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Deep Purple and Slate.

As you can see the names of the shades are exactly how you would describe them, that makes my job a lot easier!

Now onto what La Femme Beauty sent me to review!

POREfection Foundation
PR3- Light Beige SPF 20

At first I wasn't sure if this shade of foundation was going to match me but turns out it does with a bit of bronzer. Light Beige is not my skin tone but close enough that I can still wear it without it looking like a bad colour match. (As i'm normally Fair to Porcelain shades)

I use 1-2 pumps to cover a full face, the pump is so smooth and pumps put a generous amount of foundation. I applied half my face with a flat top kabuki brush and half with a beauty blender to see if it made a difference, both worked well at blending out the foundation.

Since using it all this week i've found that one pump is great for a medium coverage and 2 pumps is great for a full coverage. I now just use a beauty blender to apply it and found if you set this foundation with a setting powder it can last all day but if I don't set it by the end of the day it can start to look a bit oily but nothing has moved or creased I'd say it now is in my top 5 go-to foundations!
The satin finnish is gorgeous it looks so natural, it covered most of my redness, but I still would need a bit of concelaer to hide those nasty break outs.
I'd say it is a medium coverage but buildable to become a full coverage.
POREfection Foundation is Oil, Fragrance and Paraben Free!

Blush/Bronzer Duo
Hot & Spicy

This compact contains a colour coordinating powder blush and powder bronzer along with a mini brush. These shades are very pigmented as well as soft and buttery to swatch. You can wear these alone or blend them together to create a healthy sunkissed glow! Perfect for Summer.
Blush- Peachy Coral
Bronzer- Warm Bronze with a peachy undertone
Both have a shimmer sheen finnish

The compact opens up to a decent sized mirror on the inside of the lid, the two powders sit on a divider that holds a mini brush which is quite soft  to the touch but I personally wouldn't use it to apply these powders as it felt a bit scratchy on my face.

I deffinaly would wear the blush as I love peachy shades it gives a nice glowy flush to my cheeks.
As for the bronzer it started to go a bit orange over my foundation when it comes to contouring I prefer a matte neutral bronzer, but it would be great as a body bronzer.

Duo EyeShadow

Described as a gold-infused denim and a rich navy. The first shade (left) is a medium-dark navy blue with indigo undertones and golden shimmer. It has a decent color payoff, but it isn’t quite opaque, though the softness of the powder itself made it extremely easy to blend. The second shade (right) is a dark navy blue with subtle indigo undertones and a matte finish. Like the first shade, the texture is silky soft and smooth, but it is so soft that it is a little powdery. Saying this I found if you dampen your brush with fix plus these shadows have better colour pay off.
This is my first time trying one of Nars Duo eyeshadows so I can't say whether their other eyeshadows are the same in pigmentation but La Femme Beauty do have a few other duo eyeshadows to choose from.
These aren't normally eyeshadow shades I would wear, personally i'm more of a neutral eyeshadow kinda girl, but these shades would make for a great smokey eye!

Eye Paint
Iskandar (Gold Metallic)

This eye paint is a very rich and a highly pigmented gel formula that can be used as an eyeliner or an all over eye colour, great as a base or lid shade.
Said to have18-hour wear, I found that it dries very quickly so you have to be quick when it comes to blending.

Iskandar is a rich, medium-dark gold with orange and bronze undertones and a copper and gold shimmer. It has a frosted, metallic finish. The color payoff is rich and opaque whether applied as an eyeliner or as an eyeshadow.

Larger Than Life Lip Gloss
Pirée (Rosy pink)

Described as high-shine, high-impact gloss that gives a dramatic effect. Pirée is a gorgeous rosy pink, a perfect everyday shade to wear with any look. It is very glossy and quite sticky but not noticeable when on the lips. It is also said to be long-lasting, which I found it did but once I eat or drink something it normally fades away afterwards like most lip glosses do.
Larger than Life lipgloss are infused with ingredients to nourish and fight free radicals while natural lip enhancers pump up volume, it glides on smoothly and my lips felt very soft and moisturised.
Plus the gloss comes with a shorter-bristle brush that helps for a precise application to your lips.
