Skin Food- Skin Care

Hi Lovelies
I've been using some of Skinfood's skin care for quite some time now so much that it has become one of my favourite skin care brands!
Recently I got given some more product to try out in my Talk Beauty goodie bag, so I though I would combine my purchases and gifts together for a review because I can't rave about this skin care enough!

If you haven't heard of Skinfood they are a skin care brand that is made in New Zealand, free from any nasties like parabens and GMI etc, not tested on animals, are vegetarian society approved, Ecocert Organic Certified and have recyclable packaging!
Skinfood have created a range of nutritious products for a range of skin type to leave your skin feeling nourished, cleansed and revitalised.

Way back on my blog I had posted about my Skin Care Routine where I used mostly all Skinfood products here. I've been meaning to do an updated version as well, which i'm working on!

I've always struggled to find skin care that has worked for my skin type. I have very dry, sensitive skin with the occasional break out on my chin and around my nose and some days my t-zone can feel quite oily.
My main focus has been sensitivity and hydrating my skin as the break outs on my chin normally pop up because of "that time of the month".
When it came to using moisturisers they would irritate my skin rather than help it, thats when I discovered Rosehip oil thanks to Skinfood!

Mud Masque
Natural Rotorua mud with aloe vera and jojoba oil
I have reviewed this Mud mask before but I thought I would do an update as I feel like the formula is different, the reason I say this is because it doesn't feel as thick in consistency and my eyes don't water like the last one would make them do.

It is so easy to apply with my finger tips and slowly dries, it feels quite cold at first but in a refreshing way. When it does finally dry you'll feel like you can't move your face which is normal but thats when you know its time to wash it off.
The mask works as a deep cleanser to soften and relax the skin leaving it light and fresh, which I can confirm it does!
Apply a thick even layer onto cleasned skin leave on for 5-10 min or until dry then wipe off with warm water.

Cleans All
With manuka honey, kiwifruit and limeflower extracts, sunflower oil and aloe vera
Another product I have reviewed before but it is now my absolute favourite face wash! I love it because it is so gentle on my sensitive skin. If my skin has been feeling irritated this face wash calms it down, I can't go a day with out using it, when i've removed my makeup after a long day my skin feels so refreshed and cleansed.
It has a a sweet fruity scent and you can definitely pick up on the kiwifruit and honey.
Described as a daily facial cleanser gentle enough for makeup removal and leaves skin soft and supple.
With Rosehip Oil and Sweet Orange Oil

Another old favourite and one of my most used rosehip oils, Skinfood's Renew Organic Rosehip oil has an amazing sweet scent of oranges!
After cleansing I'm always applying it to my face and neck, like I said before I have very dry skin and feel rosehip oil does a much better job than moisturisers in hydrating my skin.

With potent natural actives, powerful antioxidants and rich in essential fatty acids, Skinfood Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is effective for scars, stretch marks, fine lines and dehydrated skin showing signs of ageing.

Suitable for all skin types.
Renew Certified Organic Coconut Oil
Blended with sweet almond, macadamia nut, apricot kernel oil and Vitamin E for face and body.

Skinsfood's Coconut Oil is their newest oil to their range and a best seller, the scent remind me of a fruit and nut bar, with a hint of apricot that definitely stands out.
I've been trying this on my arms and legs lately as I use the Rosehip Oil on my face.
Coconut oil is a blend of nutrient rich cold pressed, organic coconut, sweet almond, macadamia nut and apricot kernel oils with Vitamin E. Said to be fast absorbing and hydrating for the face and body.
After cleasening gently massage 2-3 drops into face, neck or body morning and night

Facial Wipes
With aloe vera and chamomile

I think I've have found my favourite makeup wipes and I haven't been able to say that ever!
Skinfood's Facial Wipes are so gentle to my sensitive skin and I don't feel any irritation afterwards like I normally would after using any makeup wipes. I would use makeup wipes as a quick makeup remover before washing my face but they never really would get rid of every bit of makeup.

These Facial Wipes are so saturated in makeup remover its like using a damp cloth to wipe your makeup away which I think is perfect, you really feel like your face is clean before you have even started to wash your face. The size of the wipes are even bigger than your usual makeup wipe I only ever need to use one!

The texture of the wipes are soft and gentle compare to others that i've used are ruff and bumpy they would feel like all their doing is dragging the makeup off my face. Where are these Facial wipes are cleansing, moisturing and refreshing my skin.

For all skin types 25 Wipes
You can find Skinfood online or at most supermarkets.
