August Faves

Hi Lovelies
Onto 'August Faves' and I'm two months away from my blog turning one! I can't believe I have nearly had my blog for a year now and as usual I've linked all past monthly faves below.

MAC- Lady Danger Lipstick
Described as a vivid bright coral-red with a matte finish and as it is a matte lipstick I don't find this formula drying at all.
I'm obsessed with this colour! I love creating statement lip looks and 'Lady Danger' is perfect for a night out or if your feeling bold anytime of day because of course theres no rules to makeup!
A coral-red is also a good alternative if you don't like the classic red  or a blue based red lipstick. If you want to stick to more warm neutral colours for your look Lady Danger would be perfect.

After getting a Mac Pro card I went a bit crazy in getting some Mac lipsticks that I used throughout my makeup course. Let me you if you gals want to see looks with different Mac lipstick like my current look below!

Hourglass Radiant Magenta
I adore Hourglass blushes for not just their gold packaging and marble pattern but also the subtle glow these blushes give your cheeks. I hope to collect them all eventually (says the makeup addict) But I think you will fall in love with them too once you see the collection.
I've been eyeing up the gorgeous combo of magenta and champagne in 'Radiant Magenta' for some time now, because in the past I have always avoided pink blushes as i've always found them to be to pigmented or I over do it when applying blush but this blush isn't to over the top when you use a light hand it creates a gorgeous flush to your cheeks!

Lime Crime- Velvetines
If you haven't heard of 'Velvetines' they are liquid lipsticks that dry matte and have vibrant colour pigment with a formula that lasts all day!
Velvetines also have a yummy vanilla scent and you really don't need much product when applying and I mean not much as I've found myself to have over drawn my lips with these on many occasions accidentally, you'll be saying Kylie Jenner who?!
So if you do have trouble applying liquid lipsticks a lip liner would definitely help.
I would also suggest if you get quite dry lips definitely wear a lip balm underneath these as i've found them to get quite drying.
I have quite a collection of Velvetines but these colours below would have to be my 'must haves'!
Utopia- Vibrant Orchid
Faded- Purple Beige
Bleached- Peachy 'Newtral'
Riot- Marsala
Wicked- Deep Red
