The Makeup School *Part Two

With my course almost over and my exams coming up I though it was time to write up a part two about my makeup course on a few makeup looks i've created and more products i've added to my kit.
If you missed it heres a link to my part one about The Makeup School
Plus i'll link them in the side bar of my blog >>

I can't believe my course has gone so fast!
I've since built up my kit and am feeling more confident about applying makeup to all different face shapes and skin tones.

My kit started a bit like this ^ with Mac products and since then I'm also looking at adding other high end makeup brands to my kit like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Nars and Makeup Geek.

Now and then I tried to take photos around class, we each get a station with a lit up mirror and chair.

Here are some of my class mates I've done makeup on so far
Aroha- Dewy/glowing Skin- Subtle contour and highlight!
Yuliana- Natural Day time look
Christina- Smokey Eye

Before even starting the course I had quite a big Mac lipstick collection shades I have at the moment are-
Angel, Brave, Velvet Teddy, Twig
Snob, Amourous, Up the Amp
Rebel, New York Apple, Brave Red
Plumful & Speak Louder

You would have seen my brush kit and lip palette in part one and i've started added more or the same brushes that I use the most especially eyeshadow brushes.
All I need now is a belt!

These are actually Makeup Geek eyeshadows and blushes in Mac Pro Palettes and there are only a few Mac eyeshadows and I only have one Mac blush (on the right) in these palettes.
The reason I choose to get Makeup Geek eyeshadows and blushes is because they are the same quality but cheaper than Mac. (Link to eyeshadow names here)

Pro Longwear 'Paint Pots'
These have become my new favourite cream eyeshadows! Their so veratile, you can wear them alone or blended with other powder eye shadows.
Paintery- A nude beige- great as a lid primer
Rubenesque- Golden peach with gold pearl- such a beautiful shade

Prep & Prime- Fix +
This life saver makes my skin feel so hydrated before and after applying my makeup and is a great staple piece for your makeup kit!
Described to help create an even surface for a smooth makeup application.

Models/ Classmate-
April- My best makeup yet! This look is matte skin, combed brows with a glossy eye and glossy red lip.
Faye- This look was recreating a very bold eyeliner, with dewy skin and nude lip.
Courtney- On this day we could freely recreate our own look with a pop of colour. I created a lavender shade using 'chromalines' on the lid and a mango/orange eyeshadow shade on the inner corner with dewy youthful skin.

Face Charts
With exams coming up we need to be practising these all the time.
Check out my Facebook where i'll be posting makeup looks I've created in class and for future projects! Plus I'm writing up a 'Part Three'!
